We ship baby poultry all over the United States, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam. We are one of the oldest mail-order hatcheries in the Nation. We ship baby poultry through the United States Post Office. Baby Poultry, just before they hatch, absorb the yolk of the egg into their abdomen. This allows them to be shipped for up to 72 hours without food or water, since mother nature provides them with this "built-in" food reserve.

TERMS FOR ORDERING
Mail full payment with order. No C.O.D. Shipments. Minimums for ordering are 15 Chicks, or 8 Turkeys, or 10 guineas, or 6 Ducklings, or 4 Goslings.
We guarantee 90% Sex Accuracy on Pullets. No guarantee of sex on cockerels. Count your chicks at the post office. If any are dead or missing, have your postmaster verify. If shipment is insured, have postmaster fill out claim form 1000 then and there.
Hatchability not guaranteed on hatching eggs. We send the same eggs that we would otherwise put in our incubators. Some people get great results but others have total loss. Please remember this when ordering.
Baby chicks and turkeys need medication in their drinking water. However, NEVER GIVE Ducklings, Goslings, or Guineas medication of any kind. Start babies at 90 - 95 degrees F. the first week. Then lower temperature about 5 degrees F. each week until no more heat is needed. Turkeys and Guineas need a high protein starter -- 28% at least.
Hard to reach destinations or hard to ship items may require express shipping. If we must ship by Express, we will notify you. Express charges are higher than the postage chart printed. We can quote Express charges to you by phone if you wish. Sometimes shipping by Express can mean the difference in a safe shipment and one that must be replaced. We want your eggs or babies to arrive in tip-top shape and we know that you want the same.
COUNTRY HATCHERY guarantees 100% Live Delivery of amounts ordered. Instructions will be on your mailing label should you experience a loss on delivery. Most all shipments arrive in perfect shape. We ship safely to all 50 states and any area that has a Zip Code.
Our poultry meets the highest standard of health in the United States--they are Pullorum-Typhoid Clean. We have 64,000 Hatching Egg Capacity. While we have several hundred breeders on our own farm, we take pride in the fact that all of our breeders are organically grown and organically maintained without chemicals. They are naturally bred and naturally produced--with the help of an incubator!
